We're doing it again! The one-hour classes are being scheduled now. For a small fee of $10 you can learn a new technique and make a fun project to take home. All supplies are included, just register by clicking on the link provided and be prepared to have some fun. 9:30 A.M. "Cosmos Flowers" Quilt with Lisa Breu
Enjoy creating a little quilt with a very pretty three-dimensional Cosmos petals, sparkles of crystal “dew” with a background of delicate stems and leaves.
9:30 A.M. "Fantastic 'Inchie' Pins" with Priscilla Golz
You can’t stop at just one! As you create the Inchie pins in class, you will find out that the process is quick and easy. At home you will want to play with your scraps as well as larger (+/- 12” sq.) pieces of fabric to enjoy mass production of these fun pins for family and friends.
11:00 A.M. "Fabric Scarves" with Ardith Hendrickson
Current fashion calls for the accessory of a fabric scarf. Learn how to sew a scarf that will be a lovely addition to your wardrobe.
11:00 A.M. "Pumpkin Pincushion" with Carol Schallock
You will be taught how to appliqué a wool pumpkin onto a wool background to make an autumn theme. This class is practical as well as decorative. You will be also be amazed at the comfortable and secure weight of this cute pincushion!
12:30 P.M. "Fabric Cup Holder" with Wanda Krause
Keep your hands cool and your drink warm with a personalized cup holder. It's amazing what you can do with a little bit of fabric and batting. These would make nice 'thinking of you' gifts.
12:30 P.M. "Coffee, Tea, or Origami?" with Diane Reigel
Create a small trivet or coaster by folding triangles in a specific pattern, then sew the triangles together by hand. Makes a very nice decoration for your home or for a gift.
2:00 P.M. "Christmas Cones" with Linda Bung
Imagine your tree trimmed with ornaments made in your own special colors and fabric. Quick and easy to make with scraps from your stash. Use them on your tree, as package tie-ons, or as a small gift to say “Merry Christmas!” to a teacher or a friend!
2:00 P.M. " Fancy Stitches and Crazy Quilting" with Pat Hammeke
Hand sewing and embroidery are becoming very popular. Pat will teach you how to do crazy quilting to add ornamental designs to a quilt. In this class you will make a fancy stitched pouch that can hold a small scissors (or a USB drive).

9:30 A.M. "Desk Globe Quilt Block" with Cindy Mussel
Snow globes are a very pretty adornment for any time of year, but especially at Christmas. You will be taught how to make an enchanting snow globe quilt block that will be very pleasing for your home or for a friend’s home.
9:30 A.M. "Quilted Tags" with Nancy Witte
In this class you will be making small quilted tags with fabric selvages that can be used as gifts tags, luggage tags or name tags if a pin back is added to the tag. These can be fastened on a zipper pull; added as a decoration to your purse or tote bag; or attached to a child's backpack with a picture or design to remind them that they are loved by Mom or Grandma.
11:00 A.M. "Quilted Checkbook Cover" with Linda Aldrich
You’ll be making a real fashion “statement” (get it?...) when you whip out this darling quilted checkbook cover. Everyone will ask, “Did you make this?” Once you know how to sew this accessory with an everyday print fabric, you can go on to using trendy designer fabrics, batiks, sexy firemen fabrics, and/or vintage fabrics or linens. Also makes a great gift!
11:00 A.M. "Ribbon Flowers on a Bonnet" with Carol Carter
Decorate your wool lady with bonnet silhouette (already assembled) by learning how to make a series of elegant ribbon flowers and leaves to place on her bonnet. Everything needed is in the kit and you take it home!
12:30 P.M. "Boxy LIttle Pouch" with Jean Stassen
You will have fun making this little pouch. But…. It has a ZIPPER! No more zipper-anxiety as you will learn how to sew a zipper into the pouch while the pouch is still being made. No struggling to get a zipper into a completed area.
12:30 P.M. "Where the Hex are my Needles?" with Lyn Steinmetz
Can't keep track of your needles? Make this little hexagon shaped needle case with fabric, wool felt, and What the Hex papers.
2:00 P.M. "Quilt as You Go " with Linda Bung
Have you ever made a quilt where the quilting was done as soon as the block was completed? This fun class will show you how to make scrappy quilt blocks with the “Quilt As You Go” technique.
2:00 P.M. "Seasonal Embroidery - 'Summer' - 4th in a series" with Kari Bender
This year we will complete our set of embroidery samplers. We have learned how to make many new stitches as well as becoming more sophisticated creating embroidered flowers. Join Kari as she delightfully leads yet another class on an array of beautiful stitches!
